Full Satisfaction Guarantee
Your dog lives with us for 5 days. If you're not seeing real progress, we'll make it right. See Guarantee Details.
Each day is structured around short, focused training sessions, daily neighborhood walks, and socialization with our helper dogs. In between, your dog is part of the household β resting, playing, and building trust. We use tug and fetch as bonding exercises, which helps your dog see the trainer as a source of fun and security, not just someone giving commands.
We ask that owners hold off on visits during the 5-day stay. Even well-intentioned visits can disrupt the bonding and routine we're building. Instead, we send frequent photo and video updates so you always know how your dog is doing. Most owners are surprised by how quickly their dog settles in.
On pickup day, we walk you through everything your dog has learned. You'll leave with a clear picture of what your dog knows, which cues to use, and how to maintain the new behaviors at home. Consistency from day one is what makes the results last.
If your dog has a history of reactivity or aggression β lunging, snapping, intense fixation, or a bite history β the Reactive Add-On is the right choice. It adds $500 to the 5-day stay and includes additional behavior modification protocols tailored to reactive dogs. If you're unsure, apply for a free assessment and we'll help you figure out the right fit.
The 5-Day Blitz is designed for dogs old enough to begin structured obedience work. Very young puppies often benefit more from foundational socialization at home before entering a structured program. We'll let you know what's appropriate for your dog's age and development during the free assessment.
Bring your dog's food (enough for 5 days), their current leash and collar, and any comfort items they're attached to β a familiar blanket, their favorite toy. Let us know about any dietary needs, medical conditions, or medications ahead of time so we're fully prepared.

Yes. Calm Companion Challenge is designed to be a strong starting point for owners who want better behavior, more structure, and clearer communication with their dog. It is a great fit for dogs who need help with everyday obedience, leash manners, focus, household rules, and calmer behavior in public.
Youβre very much part of the process. This is not a drop-off program. We coach both you and your dog so the progress holds up in daily life, real routines, and the situations that matter most.
Yes. Many dogs join this program because they struggle with distraction, overstimulation, or poor follow-through in real life. The goal is not to expect perfection on day one. The goal is to build calmer behavior, better engagement, and more reliability through structure, repetition, and practice.
We will guide you on what to bring and what is appropriate for your dog. In most cases, owners should expect to have basic walking and training equipment ready for class. Specific recommendations may vary based on your dogβs needs, but we will make that clear before or at the start of the program.
This program works best for owners who are ready to stay involved. You should expect to practice consistently between sessions, because that follow-through is what creates lasting change. The more seriously you take the homework and daily reps, the more youβll get out of the program.
Each program cycle includes one makeup credit. Missed sessions may be rescheduled within the same program window if space is available in another cohort. We ask for at least 12 hoursβ notice for cancellations or reschedule requests.
Complete every session, submit all homework on time, and follow the daily protocol. If you do the work, you earn 100% of your money backβregardless of your dogβs rate of progress. Weβre so confident in the process, weβre willing to pay you to commit to the program and prove that it works. The reps matter.
If you want more personalized or accelerated support after the Calm Companion Challenge, you can apply the full cost of the program toward the Private Accelerator. In that case, you would roll your investment forward into the next level of training rather than claim the win-your-money-back guarantee.

A Breakthrough Session is a strong starting point. The Private Accelerator is for owners who want to keep the momentum going. It gives you a lower per-session rate, a clearer training roadmap, and the repetition needed to move faster toward a specific goal.
The Private Accelerator is best for owners who are ready to be consistent and move quickly. If you want focused support, a clear plan, and faster progress over a shorter period of time, this is usually the right fit.
The Private Accelerator is designed for clear behavior goals that benefit from focused repetition and coaching. That may include leash manners, reactivity around dogs, barking, jumping, household boundaries, public neutrality, engagement, and better follow-through in real life.
Yes, when those skills support your training goals. The Private Accelerator can include foundational obedience work, though the program is designed around the bigger behavior outcome you want to achieve, rather than a one-size-fits-all checklist.
This program works best for owners who are ready to practice. Your sessions create the plan, and your follow-through between sessions is what turns that plan into lasting change.
Yes, in many cases. The Private Accelerator is often a strong fit for dogs who need focused work on leash reactivity, overstimulation, barking, or public behavior. Dogs with more severe aggression or bite history may be a better fit for our Reactive Dog Intensive instead.

The Reactive 5-Day Blitz β our Board & Train program β gives your dog an immersive residential foundation before the intensive work begins. Living in our trainer's home for 5 days builds the basic obedience, trust, and handler relationship that the Reactive Dog Intensive is built on top of. Without that foundation, we're starting from zero in session one β and that's not the most efficient or effective path for your dog. The Blitz makes the intensive work faster, safer, and more impactful. It's included as part of your Reactive Dog Intensive custom quote, not a separate charge.
Reactive Dog Intensive is designed for more serious cases, including bite history, human-directed aggression, severe resource guarding, heightened dog reactivity, handling risk, or behavior that no longer feels safe or manageable in everyday life. If your dog's behavior goes beyond frustration or poor manners and into true safety concerns, this is usually the better fit.
It can help with both. Some dogs in this program have confirmed aggression or bite history. Others have severe reactivity, resource guarding, intense overarousal, or behavior that has escalated to the point where a standard program is no longer the safest or clearest option.
Yes. These are the cases our trainer is most passionate about. At Good Doggos, we do not believe in βbad dogs.β Every bite-history case begins with a mandatory intake evaluation so we can assess severity, context, and history, then build the safest and clearest plan forward from day one.
You are absolutely part of the process. This is not a drop-off program. We coach both you and your dog so the handling, structure, and safety protocols carry over into real life, where they matter most.
Your quote is based on the scope of the case, including the number of sessions recommended, behavior severity, equipment needs, and travel if applicable. After the free intake evaluation, you will receive a clear itemized proposal with no surprise fees.
That depends on the case. Some dogs may need muzzle conditioning before session one, a specific handling protocol, or a liability waiver. Any required safety measures are communicated clearly during intake so everyone starts with the right structure in place.
Your dog is not broken, so we do not look at this work through the lens of a βcure.β We believe there are no bad dogs, and serious behavior always has a reason. Our job is to help you understand what is driving the behavior, learn your dog's cues and thresholds, and build safer patterns through clearer handling, better communication, and more informed decisions. Not all dogs want playdates. Not all dogs are cuddle bugs. That is okay. We are not here to change your dog's personality. We are here to change behavior and to help you build a safer, happier, more fulfilling life with the dog you love.
